Welcome to Keep Wakefield Beautiful’s Warrior Cleanup Crew, a dynamic community initiative sparked by the children of Wakefield, MA, with a mission to revitalize our town’s streets through regular cleanup events. Our organization is driven by a simple yet powerful ethos: to instill accountability through action and foster social responsibility among Wakefield residents.
Who are the Warrior Clean Up Crew?
The Warrior Cleanup Crew is a remarkable assembly of passionate individuals, both young and old, dedicated to the beautification of our beloved town. Led by our spirited warriors, we strive to inspire Wakefield residents to refrain from littering and actively engage in picking up litter whenever they encounter it. Together, we champion the cause of environmental stewardship and community pride.
Our Mission
At the heart of our mission lies a deep rooted belief in the importance of being good stewards of our environment. We recognize the vital role we play in protecting wildlife and preserving habitat integrity. By tackling litter in our neighborhoods and collaborating with neighboring towns, we aim to combat Massachusetts’ growing litter problem head on.

Summer 2024 Giveaway Success!
We’re thrilled to celebrate the success of our Summer 2024 Giveaway, which brought our community together to make a positive impact! Thanks to the incredible participation of local families, including Tiana & Orion Veldwisch, Vanessa Westlake, The Dunlap Family, Jenn & Carly Crowley, and The Boettcher Family, we saw amazing efforts in keeping Wakefield clean.

Together, in partnership with the Wakefield Youth Council, we picked up a lot of trash surrounding Woodville and Wakefield Memorial High School. I want to express my sincere gratitude for your invaluable contribution as a Warrior Clean Up Crew member. Your dedication, enthusiasm, and hard work all make a remarkable difference in our community.
By working together, we can create a more sustainable environment for ourselves and our future generations. Warrior’s lead by example and teach kids about the harmful effects of littering and to pick up trash if you see it.

Fall Clean Up 2022!
Fall Clean Up 2022 – 220lbs of trash
We’re thrilled to report that our Fall Clean Up 2022 at Breakheart was a resounding success! Together, we collected a total of 220 lbs of trash, ranging from tires and bullets to candy wrappers, nips, vapes, and even a pet rat, which the Boettcher family kindly brought to the ARL. It was a beautiful day, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to both familiar and new faces who joined us.
A special shout-out goes to Ed Dombrowski, a fellow Warrior running for State Senate on November 8th. Let’s show Ed our support as he continues to champion our shared values.

“WAKEUP WAKEFIELD! 2021” WAS A HUGE SUCCESS.
Thank you to all of the members of the Warrior Clean Up Crew for coming out to Wakeup Wakefield! 2021 at Woodville Elementary. Together we collected 75 bags of trash. Thank you to the Wakefield DPW who helped us dispose of all the trash we collected. Shout out to our Town Administrator, Steve Maio and his team, for their tremendous support every step of the way. Together we made a dent in a problem that plagues our community.
